Description
Qaisi is a type of apricot that is very sweet and pleasant and can be found in most parts of Iran. Also, in some regions, the dried apricot leaf, which in some cases also contains the apricot kernel, is called Qaisi and it is also called "leaf". Qaisi is one of the souvenirs of East Azarbaijan and Tabriz as well as Shahrood. A part of Iran's Qaisi production is exported to neighboring countries.
Qaisi Aftabbi, which is of high quality, is mostly produced in the cities and regions of Azerbaijan. Qeysi Aftabbi jam is one of the famous desserts of Tabriz. After preparing the leaves, a dryer, oven or placing them under the sun is used to prepare Qaisy. In the books, qaisi contains nutrients like other dry fruits, qaisi also contains nutrients such as fiber, vitamins A and C, potassium and iron.
